Tshegofatso Kekana has six years’ experience in the Public Relations, Media and Communications sectors. After studying public relations at Varsity College in Pretoria, Her career journey started in 2010 when she worked as a PR coordinator for Kalawa Jazzmee Records, working with well-known musicians. In 2011 she joined Weber Shandwick Global PR Agency.
She acquired skills in public relations coordination, media liaison, corporate events, and communications, as well as insights into the advertising and marketing industry. She has built good relations with industry leaders and media inﬂuencers. Some of the clients that she has worked with include: GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), African Innovation Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bloomberg Africa, McDonald’s SA, Rolex, Novo Nordisk, Civil Aviation Authority, Sasria and Protea Hotels.
Tshego is a founding member for the 100+ Movement, an NGO that strives for social upliftment in the Atteridgeville community. She is passionate about giving back, and makes sure she dedicates the time to do so.
